Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. Learn how Unalytics protects and processes your data.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Unalytics! We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy describes how Unalytics (referred to as "the app", "we", "us", or "our") processes your data when you use our mobile application.

Unlike traditional analytics dashboards, Unalytics functions entirely client-side. We do not run any servers, databases, or cloud processing layers of our own to store or process your dashboard statistics.

2. Google API Data

Unalytics accesses Google services on your behalf to display dashboard metrics. To achieve this, the app asks for authorization to access the following Google APIs:

Google Analytics Data API AdSense Management API AdMob API

Scope and Use of Data:

  • Read-Only Access: All authorization scopes requested are strictly read-only. Unalytics will never modify, create, or delete any resources, accounts, properties, or configurations in your Google account.
  • Metric Retrieval: We fetch metrics such as page views, user counts, ad revenue, ad requests, matched requests, eCPM, active users, session counts, and geographical distributions.
  • Data Display: This data is retrieved client-side and dynamically visualized inside the application. No analytical data is uploaded to our servers.

3. Serverless Architecture

We believe in absolute data ownership. Unalytics does not employ backend servers to aggregate, cache, or store your analytics metrics.

  • Direct Request: Your mobile device queries Google APIs directly using the secure client credentials you set up.
  • Local Caching: Collected data is saved locally on your device in an encrypted App Sandbox sandbox environment (under the file name unalytics-cache.json) so you can view your dashboard offline.
  • Signing Out: When you tap "Sign Out" in the application settings, all cached analytics, session tokens, profile images, and access credentials are permanently wiped from your device.

4. Third-Party Services

Unalytics integrates third-party SDKs to optimize performance, measure app interaction, and display advertisements. These partners may collect device identifiers and usage statistics:

Facebook SDK & Analytics

Used to measure app installs and launch events. Facebook may collect basic device telemetry (device model, iOS version, session duration) to analyze install performance.

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

Used to trace application crashes, track user interactions, and log anonymous system diagnostic events (e.g., when a Google API query returns an error) to improve stability.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The app shows subtle banner and interstitial advertisements to keep development active. AdMob may utilize your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) to serve personalized advertisements, subject to your tracking permission consent on iOS.

5. Security

Security is a fundamental design principle of Unalytics:

  • OAuth 2.0 PKCE: We use the industry-standard PKCE extension inside an ASWebAuthenticationSession. Your Google password is never seen by the application and is handled safely inside the secure browser session.
  • Secure Keychain: Access and refresh tokens returned by Google authentication are stored inside the iOS Keychain Services, which provides secure, hardware-encrypted storage.
  • Biometric App Lock: You can enable Face ID or Touch ID lock inside Settings. This protection runs local biometric verification using the iOS LocalAuthentication framework before showing dashboard stats.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date at the top of the policy.
